Licence to Operate an Order Picking Forklift TLILIC2002.
OZFORKS Melbourne is Worksafe registered to deliver the LO forklift Licence, also known as the Order Picker or Stock Picker Forklift Licence in VIC. An LO Forklift Licence will allow you to operate and LO (8C high reach) type forklift; in compliance with Australian Government high-risk work guidelines and regulations.
Course content includes pre-operational inspection, familiarization of the order picker, handling characteristics, maneuvering of the order picker, loading and unloading, change & recharge battery knowledge assessment, calculations assessment, practical assessment.
Warehousing operatives wanting to expand their skills should consider an Order Picker Licence.
National Assessment Criteria
Knowledge Assessment- Includes a written and mathematical assessment. Study guides will be supplied to participants prior to the course.
Practical Assessment- Hazard identification and hazard prevention, conduct pre-operational checks (visual forklift inspection), conduct post-start checks and the safe operation of the forklift, handling loads, moving loads from different locations and heights, shutting down and securing the forklift.
Pre-requisites
Participants must be minimum of 18 years of age, documentary evidence and proof of age is requires before course commencement.
Participant must have sufficient knowledge of the English language and basic numeracy skills to complete the written and mathematical assessment.
